in Jasper, Indiana during your stay at the River House Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1910 in "Little Kentucky" by Andrew W. Eckert, the home is a part of local history. Andrew and his two brothers built the original three story flour mill now replicated across the street. The house overlooks the Patoka River where many years ago barges began their journey carrying Patoka Lily Flour from Jasper to New Orleans to the French Pastry Chefs.

​​For more than 100 years the home was resided in by descendants of the Eckert family. The home was purchased in 2016, to open as the River House Bed & Breakfast to share its grandeur. 

   With more than 5,000 square feet each of the rooms offers a unique view and overlooks a portion of the estate.
